Alex Chambers

I grew up in Wisconsin and at the age of 16 I was orphaned and became a ward of the state. I finished my final 3 years of high school while in kinship care with my aunt and uncle. After high school, I moved to Colorado and started working in the service industry. I started college when I was 21 and I graduated from CSU with my B.S. in Psychology. I spent much of my time after college trying to figure out how to navigate the world. Along the way I have learned many valuable lessons both from making mistakes as well as seeking advice from other professionals. My journey from becoming a 16 year old orphan to working for a fortune 200 company has seen its fair share of ups and downs. Some of those ups and downs were self inflicted while others were driven by circumstance. I have overcome addiction, terrible employers, toxic relationships and bad credit and am now building a life that I am proud of.
